2012 JK build
New to Forum. After many hours of reasearch (mostly here) I have came up with the following list to start my 2012 JK 2 door build. It will be a used as a second viechle and weekend smasher. I want to be able to use and abuse it without to many worry's. Mostly used on rough trails and as much mud as I can find. Will also be ugrading bumpers and adding a winch eventually (funds) as well, any sudgestions there are apreciated as well - Leaning towards warn forthe winch but curious if another brand would be as affective and a little more cost friendly. Originally planned on 35's but starting to lean toward 37's mostly just for looks though, but sceptical. If I am missing anything or am off base somewher please let me know. (I know I don't "need" the 4" lift to run 35's but I have seen some jeeps with this and it looks perfct)

first off 4" is a lot of lift for just 35's especially when we're talking about a TF 4" lift which means you'll really get more like 5". needless to say, 37's would be a better fit for your lift choice but, being that you only have a dana 30 up front and you want to play hard, i might recommend against it. if you're determined to run 37's, i would recommend that you leave you DO NOT lock up your front diff and add chromoly shafts to your list. you are way more likely to break one of them and well before you could even hope to break your housing. also, for 37's, 5.13's would be the better ratio to go with but, the pinion in a dana 30 is really really tiny and will be a bad weak point. because of this, i would recommend that you go with 4.88's for strength purposes. of course, just getting a prorock 44 would be the best solution. please note that all this is based on the fact that you said you want to use and abuse it without to many worry's.
