Default 2012 JK thoughts on mods

I have a 2012 Gecko and love it. It came from the dealer with the coil spacers to give a little lift. Since then I did the Bedliner on wheels, added a body armor bumper w skid plate, and a few lights. Oh and painted inside. Trying to decide if I should go with an actual coil lift on it or rubi coils w spacers.

And suggestions on a winch. Thought of the LP8500 superwinch. Can get it for about $350. Then 35" Nitto Trailgrapplers will be next.

You wil not regret a set of new, longer coil springs!!! You will get a lot more flex, and thats what it's all about

I ordered the spray cans at the dealer for the paint. I am definitely leaning towards coil lift. Looked at teraflex and rubicon express opinions on em?

You could look at getting new 19/60 springs from your dealer. Costs ~$135 for all 4. You'll get some decent lift from them. That way you'll still be factory and won't be too tall for stockish tires.

If I go with the 19/60 springs how much lift will I get and are any other mods needed to complete this?

Do you know your current spring rates? The last 2 numbers of each tag are what you look at. Many people gain 1-2" when going to 18/58 take-offs from 15/56 springs. A lot of the guys that buy 18/58 take-offs pay $100-$125, so for $10 more, you can have brand new from dealer.

You wouldn't Need anything else. You can always add adjustable QD sway bar links, adjustable beefier track bar, any other things if you wanted to.
