Default 2012 Rubicon Suspension Question

I have tried searching and found similar questions but not my exact question...

I have a 2012 Rubicon JKU and am slowly working on buildup. Very slowly.

So far I am looking to just get it leveled. Front Rugged Ridge XHD Bumper and EMGO 10000 winch weigh the front down some. One of my goals is to not cause any changes to be needed for the factory Rubicon sway bar disconnect. I assume I can put a leveling kit / puck kit on it for now to get it level until I am ready to do a 2.5" lift? There are so many "budget lifts" out there. Are they pretty much the same?

Here is how she sits now:

They were on there from the dealership. I thought they looked nice. Then I find out that they are totally useless off road, manuals actually say to remove them to go off road, etc. Local Jeep Club forum member has a set of Rubicon Rails in his garage I am trying to get a hold of to replace them.

Yeah, for sure... Hope you get 'em!

I'd tell the dealer to put the stock rails back on. Looks like he took em off yours and sold him the guy that bought the Sahara.

Dang!!

You gotta get your Rubi Rock Rails back!!

As for a lift, if you want to go slow and cheap get a TeraFlex 2.5" Coil lift with shock extensions. You can use your factory Rubicon Shocks. Check out Northridge4x4 they have great prices...

I got the Rubicon Rails just now!!! They came off a 2009 but they have no hardware or bolts with them. Am I better going to dealership, possibly complaining about them selling me the wrong part originally, see how much it costs to buy factory bolt set.... Or find out what type, size, and length somehow and get them at Lowe's or Fastenal?!?!

And the same guy I got the rails from has a set of these he had from before his lift and said he might sell them to me to help with my sag in front...

I would COMPLAIN! The Rubi rails are one of the essential parts that you paid for; a true trail ready vehicle. I'm not sure how far you will get with your complaint. You may even end up doing the work yourself after all, but it's worth a try.

You can use the hardware off the steps but I would find out why the dealer pulled off the rails to begin with.

Are you missing any other standard Rubicon accessories?

Good question. You should have also received grab handles to install. They would have been in your glove box.
