Mine is simply getting crazy after wheel change. I've learned to ignore it.

go to napa and buy the valve stems for 6 bucks a piece and unscrew the sensors from the stock ones and put them on the new valve stems

you could always buy a new set of sensors from your dealership and install them in the new wheels. Having it that way is the easiest. (2 sets of wheels and tires ready to go is ideal)

i like this idea. my 2012 JKUR should be in to my dealer in a couple weeks and i am putting pintlers and 35's on it. the dealer has offered to buy back the rubicon wheels/tires for $750, which i think i'll do but i am sure they are going to want to keep the sensors. i really don't want to spend another $50 a wheel for sensors. they seem like an annoyance more than anything. what's the legal issues of removing them?

Sell those bad boys for the 750 and tell them 50 a piece for the sensors, thn go get a programmer and turn that TPMS off.

I don't know why your TPMS light is not on. It should come on right away. Maybe they actually did have the sensors. You probably could go to a dealership thats not too busy and see if they can just tell you if you have them. They should have a wireless hand held device that they can place next to the tire and check the pressure. If it reads a pressure then you have sensors in them. Also, all vehicles manufactured after 2007 have to have TPMS. Its a govt. mandate now. So whether you like it or not all vehicles will come with them now. I actually like them personally. Especially with the different programmers that us jeep owners have to be able to change the settings on them.

Ok, I will run by a dealership on my next days off. If this is the case, then I might have another set to sell....
