Which 2012 unlimieted?
I've been looking at the 2012 jeeps and love the acceleration from a 2 door Rubicon but that same seat of the pants feeling is not in the 4 door. My wife want the unlimited so the 2 door is now out and the 4 door is in but.......?
I plan on running 35" KM2's so it will lose even more daily driver performance. I am thinking that 4.56 gears would even out the playing field as compared to the 4.88/5.13's in the 07-11 models but am hearing rumors that the new 2012 can't be gear swapped. Whats up with that?
Next question. Considering the fact that I am swapping gears anyway give me a good reason why I shouldn't just build up a sport. There is nearly $10,000 difference between the sport and Rubicon unlimited which would cover most of the build cost anyway including ARB Lockers.
What to do??????
Sorry for the spelling error in the title. The system won't allow me to correct it.

I read that the 12's can't swap gears as of current. I'd jump on the Rubicon if you want the seat of the pants acceleration, as it comes factory with 4:10's. Not to mention lockers, 4:1 low range, Dana 44 front axle, and E-Disco front sway bar. I bought a 10' Rubi unlimited... Havent regreted it once.
If your going to go straight out and build one, the sport is the better choice. You can do a lot with the price difference. If you are planning on waiting several years before you do many mods, the Rubicon can do most things off the show room floor. There is also the equipment differences such as leather, navigation, etc. to think about. My wife and I both have Rubicons and they will be paid for and out of warranty before they see lifts and tires.
