Just got a new 2012 basic stuff and the first thing I want is tires rims and a lift. I was thinking 35in tires 17in rims with a 4in lift do you all think that will be fine

Are you sure you don't want 37s? Hahah kidding...re gearing should be on your short list but in the mean time...you'll love it. Post pics when project complete.

What exactly do you have now? 2 door? 4 door? Sport? Sahara? Rubi? 3.21's 3.73's 4.10's? What are you planning on doing with it?

Welcome aboard! Congrats on the Jeep.

Before you sink 4 grand into new rims, tires and a big lift kit you might find some valuable information in the FAQ section at the top of the forum for axle gearing, lift kits, death wobble and how to easily fit 35" tires under your new ride.

Lots and lots of info here on the growing list of tires, wheels, lift kits, gears, performance and handling affects caused by different mods.

That lift will most likely require a new front drive shaft and maybe rear.
