4" were getting you 35's, while 7" will get you 40s?

Assuming this is a real post, there is a lot more going in to 40s than just your lift. 40's won't clear your rear wheelwells. The tires are way too heavy for the factory lockers, even if you have a rubicon. The front tires will tear up your sheetmetal as you compress your suspension while turning.

I run about 6.5" of lift to clear my 38-14.50's. They still rub on the front under compression and I use nitro bumpstops to limit my uptravel (to my steel tube fenders). My rears stuff perfectly, but 40's won't fit like my 38's so you'll need to limit uptravel back there too.

I run dual 60's, the Rubicon T-case (my jeep was originally a Rubicon), and now hydro assist becuase the aftermarket track bar mount ripped off my frame from the stress of the tires. I updgraded while rebuilding my mounts. I forgot to mention that you will destroy your e-swaybar with the weight of the axles/tires/wheels/lift/etc so if you have one, I'd get manual disconnects to protect it when you're off road.

Assuming you're just going to drive around town on 40's, you're probably ok. If you wheel it, you're just starting off on a big build - either proactively through patience or manually as you break stuff wheeling.

so on your 2013, you've already been through 2 lifts? and you "were" running 35's? so what you're saying is that you already got the 40's mounted? did you get the new tuner that yields 100hp increase and +20mpg over stock? heard its the bees-knees
