2015 D30 shaft with 1350 u-joints?
I read the Spicer ad about the axle shafts in the 2013+ JK's got axle shaft upgrades. I checked my 2015 and my OEM shaft has 1350 u-joints. Are the new axles closer to the strength of chromoly axles?
I'm trying to decide if I need to upgrade shafts for EJS or just pickup a spare take-off set. I'm running 4.56 gears, 35" KM2's and ARB lockers and I don't get into the skinny peddle too much. I've got sleeves, gussets, and PS diff covers.

Just grab a set of take-offs for the trip
The traction is ridiculous out there and you won't need the skinny pedal. Pick the right line and just crawl the jeep. More likely to blow a rear shaft if you start bouncing while climbing.
