I am running the new lights and they are awesome. So good my buddy just spent the money on the upgrade and is extremely happy he did. Only took about an hour to install.

I'm a JW Speaker fan myself. Used in Canada on my Jeep up there and here in Mexico as well.

Mine iced up pretty good in a slushy snow we had here so I would have to say no, but that was the only time I had them in such a slushy snow/rain mix. We'll have to see how they go through an entire winter next year.

This thread is for the new Jeep LED lights, they are not JW Speaker's.

The OP did ask about aftermarket as well. CaboChris was just giving an opinion.

Because a question was asked in regards to the aftermarket options, I"ll offer up a response as well. I had the Speakers in mine, and recently relit the whole front of the Jeep with KC. The Speakers put out a whole bunch of line, but were borderline obnoxious on the road due to the light pattern. The KC's run a flat beam on the top end of the light, which takes a bit of getting used to, then go full array when kicked to brights. Something worth looking at as they're pretty badass. I put my old Speakers in my buddy's Jeep in about 10 minutes and he was blown away with their performance over stock.

I don't know what the stealer is charging for the factory lights, but because it's Jeep, I'm sure it's not a real bargain.

The question was asked on "Modified JK Teck" regarding "......running new 2017 headlights...". There was no mention of LED! Relax 4x4chick.
