2018 JK, question about security gateway module and smart cable location

2018 JK, question about security gateway module and smart cable location
Bought an smart cable to in theory bypass the security gateway module. i read Jeep/Dodge/RAM's etc have a new security gateway where the won't allow you to use things like Jscan, AlfaOBD, Hptuners etc etc connected to the odb2 port to change tire size, gear size, global windows down etc etc without a bypass for the system.
All i can find is the location of the security gateway in the JL's but nobody says anything about 18 JK's. Do we have that security system and if so where is it located so i can plug the smart cable ?
