everyone has there own style opinions, are you going for the "G WAGON" look? Like the Tony Hawk Dub Edition, or diddy's/schecklers jeeps? It's all person preference but yes 22's will fit if your using a low pro tire, but without color matching the top to the body, and getting paint matched fenders, its going to look pretty goofy keeping the rugged look of a wrangler with the luxury look of 22 inch rims

 

it is certainly not my personal style choice, and I wouldn't do it to a jeep because I just think why bother...its a jeep...that said...there has always been something about shecklers jeep that I really liked. Sorry boys
