Default 25 psi in a 35 too low??

I have a set of 35 km2s and feel the 28 psi still feels too hard . What are the down sides to running so low, is this two low?

Are you referring to On-Road or Off?

On road for long periods of time with the pressure too low will wear the tires funny.

I'm talking on road. Is 25 going to cause odd tire wear?

I've yet to dial in, The off road shop started with 35 PSI, after a couple days of driving I've noticed the outer tread hairs were still on, I could still barely see small lumps in the interior treads, so I went down to 30PSI, it rode smoother but still saw the outer tread hair things. I'm gunna try 25 PSI to see if I can get it to ride flat. I know turning will be affected but I kinda want an even wear. If u got a programmer u can cancel the low air warning light on the dash.

Search for "chalk test" doing this will determine how low of psi you can run without irregular wear on your tires.

Default Try the chalk test

Try the chalk test to see where the chalk wears away across the treads. I found that 30psi is the magic number for my 37" MTZ's on the street. I've had them on now for just over a year and treadwear is excellent and even.

Like mentioned before, do the chalk test. You will find huge differences in tires. When I was running Iroks, I ran 18/16 to get a full contact patch. Currently 24/22 with these toyos.
