265/75R15- Will it work?

My Dakota has the above tires . I want to trade the p/u for a JK and was wondering if the winter tires could go onto the jeep. I realise that I will need to purchse new rims . Anybody buy "15" rims yet?

I am running 265/75R16 with no problem. I would guess that you'll be fine.

Fantastic!!
I am glad that it will work because they "really bite"(the snow that is). I will trade the truck with the original rims that have bald tires and keep the winter tires for the JK.

Anyone know if "15" rims exist that will clear the brake calipers? I am thinking of a Sahara or X.

You guys are the best!!

Don't know from personal experience, but there are several photos and reports out there of at least the basic steel 15's working just fine. You may have more issues with certain alloys, etc. however. Here's an example of some 15" black steelies:
