I really wanted a 2-door; but with 3 kids and a 130lb. dog that tags along, it just didn't have the room I needed... It is really crazy how uch of a difference 20 inches makes. Both for the good and bad I suppose!

x2. My plan is to sell my 2dr to my brother one day (he proposed this to me), and buy a used 4dr and build it. I am thinking of actually getting a 2wd with a ton of miles on it and doing a hemi swap, atlas, axles, etc. I am not there financially, so its gonna be a few years.

Already do in some parts of the world. It's more or less the J8() there is a 2 door version of the J8 (JT would really be it I guess), I don't know if that's the designation it's given), already being produced. I've seen pics around, but hard to search on here for the J8 or JT because it's under the 3 letter minimum.

Yeah, from what I can tell, it looks like it's still designated the J8(made for the Egyptian military). It' my understanding, that the JT is just a 2 door J8 anyway. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those myself. My sons old enough now, I don't need the extra doors and losing 4 inches in W.B. would be good too.

Anyboyd seen this done on a JK yet??
THATS WHY I STARTED THIS THREAD...AND FOUND THE ROCKKRAWLER 5.5" LONGARM KIT. CHECK IT OUT IN A PREVIOUS POST. IT ALLOWS FOR THE WHEEL BASE TO BE LENGTHENED AND JUST THE REAR CORNERS MODIFIED TO CLEAR TIRES UP 40" TALL

I think Off Road Evolution is actually designing a rear crusher kit for extended
2dr's. I am not sure if it would be like the comp cut with that rockkrawler JK.
