sometimes I wish I'd have bought a 4-dr after I got married in Dec and having two teen daughters, so we decided to get her a 4-dr Rubi early next year hopefully. All I need is a congo rack or something for storage, even a wilderness rack would help when we want to go camping, the 4-drs have a lot of room compared to us and 4 people in the vehicle on a trip.
I dont get all the talk of stretching a 2door, they had the unlimiteds in 06 I believe with just 2 doors

Already do in some parts of the world. It's more or less the J8() there is a 2 door version of the J8 (JT would really be it I guess), I don't know if that's the designation it's given), already being produced. I've seen pics around, but hard to search on here for the J8 or JT because it's under the 3 letter minimum.

Yeah, from what I can tell, it looks like it's still designated the J8(made for the Egyptian military). It' my understanding, that the JT is just a 2 door J8 anyway. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of those myself. My sons old enough now, I don't need the extra doors and losing 4 inches in W.B. would be good too.

I want to do something like this with the fender wells but extend the rear axle a little instead of leaving it. I wouldn't even want to extend the whole body or anything just the axle back a little for a longer wheel base. I think it would look sharp. Prolly cost a ton of $$$ though....
