Default 2in lift on 2010 2 door

Want to do 2 inch lift. Do I have to change anything like brake lines, drive shaft, or any other part? I just want to buy the kit and put it on. And what is the best one?

2.5 terraflex bb is what most people run. You will need a front driveshaft or exhuast spacer if you have 2012

And you should read/search before you post

What he's saying is, use the search feature. Coming here for help and advice is fine, but we don't need multiple threads on the same subject.

There are literally tons of threads on this subject.

I am not trying to make people feel stupid. I was new here once too but I have learned to research first then ask questions. You will get better answers if you ask more specific questions.

Sorry if I was rude. I am on this forum to help and learn. I don't have a project jk sticker on my windshield because it adds horsepower

If you go 2.5 there is a whole mess of stuff that people recommend you change. JKS has a 2.0 system that looks very nice with CA's and a track bar, and I don't think there are many extra little things you have to do.

Here's a picture of my 2010 bone stock.

And here it is after a Rock Krawler 2.5" lift with 285/70/17 Duratrac tires.

Do you plan on getting off-road bumpers? If no, a Teraflex budget boost will work just fine.

If yes, I suggest going with a coil spring lift to compensate for the added weight. Rock Krawler, Teraflex, JKS and AEV all make great kits. If the kit you choose does not come with new shocks, you will have to buy longer shocks or shock extension mounts. You won't "need" longer brake lines, but I would get brake line relation brackets if not included. I would also budget for extended bump stops. Teraflex 1954700 bolt in on the reae axle; sold as a pair. Teraflex 953800 are for the front; sold individually.

As long as you don't disconnect your front swaybar when off-roading, your front driveshaft should be ok. If the kit you choose does not come with adjustable front lower control arms and an adjustable front trackbar, I suggest getting a set to dial in your suspension geometry.

Hope this helps
