Default 2nd Generation RIPP?

Well? Where is the information on this? I looked tonight and saw that the second generation was on there, and cheaper than the first. I was kinda waiting for this - and now I see no information or excitement at all. RIPP, where are you? What is new with the second kit?

I got an email today saying "however our new Gen2 kit is very user friendly - it can be installed by an average mechanic - the instructions are extremely clear and thorough" They also said that its available and is what would ship but no other details.

Heya RIPP or anybody that knows, what is new with this kit? It says on the Ripp page that you can use an intercooler (what I was waiting for) but that doesn't appear to actually be available. Is this kit going to be able to use 87 ocatane without the methanol injection? Why the update and second generation unless there are actual improvements? Somebody tell me what the improvements are please!

We are very excited - but we are cautious - we are monitoring a soft launch through our network of dealers for consistency - once we feel its ready to rock and roll, product is in hand and QC'd - more info will be posted - at the moment we turned the volume down a bit just in-case we have to make a change...

The new kit is:
  • Easier to install
  • Safer to run
  • Much more user friendly
  • Less expensive

A formal post will be coming soon... again sorry for the stir - and thanks for the poke...

Also heard that there is a Stage II for the existing kit coming out. Any info on that?

Eagerly awaiting any new information. If this kit comes with, or can use, an intercooler (non chemical) I am sold.
