For the 2nd time now my stock pump has failed! These things anit worth a damn. I liked to know why these pumps are sooooo shitty? New pump will be here on friday but damn if i feel like replacing a pump everytime I go offroad! Hydro Assist is so damn much!

 

what are you running for tires right now? don't know if a steering fluid cooler will help extend the life, but im sure it couldn't hurt.

Ive had mine blow once and can kind of feel it starting to go again, that plus my sector shaft is pretty bent

 

ever look at the redneck ram setup. they will rebuild your pump and modify it along with everything you need to upgrade to hydro assist. it runs around 500 to 600 bucks and they are a small family owned and operated company out of texas. from what i have read their products seem to get good reviews. i will be going with this as my next mod. i belive the only thing you might want to get is a cooler as it does not come with one. this is also a weld on for the tabs on the ram. you could order bolt on brackets from other companies if this is a issue. this option is prob close to a new stock pump price anyway.

 

I am now on my 3rd pump, they are junk. I busted both of mine offroad though w/ 35's. Had all sorts of problems with getting it warrantied, so if your lifted with big meats..get ready to fight. I will eventually get the redneck ram setup when I go to 37's.
