hmmm, while there might be a way to rewire things so that you can do this, you need to be very careful when doing this as if you mess up even a little, you can fry your whole computer.

2 reasons , 2 wheel brake stands and drifting, if the diff is open when your drifting then you might flip the bitch cause the inside tire will not spin or slide so you'll end up tipping, i found that out in my old tj, it didnt flip but i was on 2 wheels at the balence point so i turned into it like the monster trucks do and down it came back on the tires. so if its locked the back end will slide out when you stay on the gas, cause the tires r spining witch means alot less fraction and traction

There is a post regarding a write up to lock both the front and rear lockers in High if you want. Below is the link to the write-up.

I cannot see how the JK would realistically have enough power to drift or burnout.

You could totally bypass the computer and wire it to a switch. I have a sahara and added a dana 44 with elocker to the front. Its a simple 12 connection and you can wire an LED to tell you when it is locked.
NOt quite sure why you would want to do it anyway but it can be done.
