Default 3.21's to 4.10's

I have 3.21 gears (& 35's) and a set of 4.10's sitting on the garage floor.

Tell me if you love going from 3.21's to 4.10's
or if you wish you would've gone lower.

I've got stock 4.10's and almost think they should be lower STOCK. If you're going to tear it down and go through the hassle, and you're running 35's.... why not just go to 4.88's or more?

Some people complain on stock Rubi tires and 4.10s. With 35s, I'd go straight to 4.88s.

Post in the staging area for your neck of the woods. See if you can find some people running 35's/manuals with 4.10's and with 4.88's and talk them into a ride to compare.

Are you installing yourself? If not, that's a lot of coin to spend just to go back to a 'stock' ratio.

Browse the info and chart in the drivetrain faq, then move on to the 1000 other re-gearing threads. You'll find that the vast majority of people agree on which ratio to go with for 35's...

My wife has 3.21 and I have 4.10. Both are stock with standard size tires. The 4.10 is great with 31" tires. With 35" tires, you should go to 4.88.
Sell the 4.10 to some one and use that money towards your 4.88.
