Default 3.25 rustys BUMP STOPS?

Hey guys I'm going with the 3.25in rustys lift....... Do you guys think I would need bump stops with running 33's. I don't think I will hit the fenders with 33's on this lift because I was told I net about 3.8in or so its more the fact of over extending my shocks....

no... you wont need them. Now, if you want, ask them to send you shocks that are 4 inches longer then what they would have sent you, get some 2 inch bump stop and increase your articulation. You call.

nope... his springs don't over compress. plus, bump stops prevent over compression.

Will you be Disconnecting?

If so, plan on rubbing, and plan on the coils stacking...

You would have to talk to the folks at Rusty's to see if stacking will damage the coils, or if they are designed to be able to compress solid.

For comparison - I was put in touch with ARB's senior design engineer down in australia to get info on this same issue. There are pics in my gallery showing my ome hd coils before and after 2" bumpstops. (appx 4" lift height, and the tires are 32" actual height) I haven't seen the lift height on rustys 3.25 coils, but should be fairly close to your setup. Note that even with the bumpstops, the tires still have minor contact with the fenders. I'll trim or go to flats rather then add more bumpstop.

Rusty's springs are designed to handle stacking.
