Default 3"-4" for 2013 4-door JK

I've been doing some researching and asking around about people's lifts and Jeeps. As the title says, I'm about to purchase a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport 4-door, Automatic 3.21 ratio. I've narrowed down my options of kits to TeraFlex 3" Basic lift with 9550 Shocks and Rubicon Express 3.5" Standard System.
After asking around, I shouldn't go with them due to a flighty feel at highway speeds and I should go with the Super-Flex kit from RE.

So my question is, would the RE kit be better than the TF because it has more components needed minus shocks (based off of Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 3" lift?.... And if the RE is more compatible, is the Superflex worth 3x the price of the standard?
I've also read that I will need to regear, new driveshaft, and exhaust mod after a 3.5" lift. Is it absolutely necessary even if it's a DD? I want to run 35"s, but honestly do not want to do a regear/driveshaft swap.

Sorry for all the questions but this is my first Jeep and my first time lifting a vehicle. I want to get it done right. To clarify, I have a DD 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4door Auto, 3.21 gears. I'll like to lift it 3.5" and run 35" tires.

I highly recommend getting deeper gears if you're gonna do 35's.

If you dont want to regear or get new drive shafts then go with a 2.5 inch lift which is fine for 35s, and get 4.10 gears

I can speak for the RE Super Flex, I had that setup on my 08 and was very happy. Never had one issue, It drove like stock and flexed very well. I put 30K on the RE lift before I traded in the 08 on my 12.

2012 JKU Sport 3.5 AEV lift, 35 inch Trail Grapplers, 3.21 gears. I am planning on upgrading the gears eventually but it is better than my 09 with 33's and the old engine. I've been running that lift for 4 months now and I am happy with its city and highway riding. I'm in Colorado and going up the mountains to snowboard is when I wish I had the better gears but that's what I'll invest in next. Also I haven't replaced the drive shaft either no problems yet!!

If I was to regear, what's the price range for something like that? Also, what about the driveshafts? I'll like a minimum of 3", so looks like I'll have to sacrifice some money if it's mandatory.

Would you say it's worth 3x the money of the standard? Being that I won't need it to flex (due to me being in mostly marsh area, New Orleans)

hmm, seems like you're doing okay without gears and driveshaft so it gives me some hope lol. I've been to Denver and I know that city is a lot of highway, any flighty-ness from it? Also, do you think your 2012 will be different from the 2013?

I would also like to add the Rock Krawler 3.5 Flex System kit to the kits that I'm considering.

I have an 11' JKU with a 4 inch lift and 35"s. have the stock 3.21's and although its NOT my DD I really don't think it's that bad and I still get decent mpg. Your going to have the new motor so I would be less worried about re gearing right now. As far as drive shafts I haven't replaced mine yet and don't see a reason to so far..

Default 3" with 35s

No problem for me with 3" of lift and 35s. Did not regear (yet) and have not had to replace stock components. It may be in my head, but changing steering to Currie Currectlync made a huge difference in flighty feel. I ran without a stabilizer for awhile (did not need it), but again, in my head, actually think that made a (flighty) difference too. The Currie stuff is a beast. Made the stock look like a toy.

I went with the RE 3.5 Standard Lift, it rides amazingly well. I got the Bilstein 5100s and AEV geometry correction brackets to skip out on the cam bolts.
