I put mine on top of the BB.

On another note, how does that work when ordering parts, like shocks? Is it a 3.25" lift? I put the 3/4" spacers in when I added the winch/bumper, so do I factor in the increased compression?

I had asked this question the other day.

This is what they had to say..

All depending on which bumber and winch combination you will loose about 3/4" sag in the front and rear (if you use a full size spare tire). Most people will use coil spacers to adjust for this. Its the cheapest and easiest fix for this. All you do is add the spacer between the body and spring. Just be advised that their are usually some there from the factory (at least on mine there was) so take this into account when you decide which spacer you need. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

What he said. I just put the coil spacers on this past weekend and it is very easy. I am not a mechanic by any means, so if I can do it you can. All you need is some jack stands, wratchets, and a jack. There are many spacers out there, I used Daystar 1 3/4 spacers, but you probalbly only need 3/4 like he stated. Daystar makes them to. Check Quadratec for the other vendors that make coil spacers. And use WOL write up on the 2.5 BB it is basically the same install as spacers. Good luck

That is correct- That is what I did for the same reason .

Hope this helps....
