Default 3/4" Spacers in front - Question please

I'm about to go install my 3/4 spacers in the front, I can't find a write up about it. Has anyone done this one on top of a 2.5 BB? Is there a good way of removing the bump stops? And do they go on top or bottom of the spacer that is on there?

I looked into this awhile back. I never ended up doing it, I plan on just getting a set of HD coils when I finally decide on a bumper and winch. But anyway, here is the info I gathered:

The bumpstops are hard to pull back out, someone mentioned spraying them with windex first and it helps alot. I would think a spray detail wax would work too, thats how I get muffler hangers off. Other wise just elbow grease and a strong grip to get them back out. I was going to try a strap wrench on them to give me a little more grip.

There are alot of people running the spacer on top of the BB. Most people put the 3/4" spacer on top just to hide it from veiw.

Ha! I just finished this about 30 minutes ago. Piece of cake. I read on here that the bumpstops would be hard to get out. One guy used windex, another guy that 'works out' used his herculean strength. I shot some windex in the first one, and then used a long ass thin flat head screw driver and it popped right out. So on the other side I was going to do the same thing, but had an idea as I was removing the coil. I used the coil to pull it off- pulled the coil about 1.5inches down the bumpstop, and used the coil as a lever to pry it off, get me? I mean there was no resistance (just like prom night!). Anyway, something to think about if yours is on there snug. I didn't have any trouble. Hell, I almost stopped and took a pic of it too lol.

Anyway, you can put the spacer above or below your old spacer, just put the OEM rubber 'isolator' on the bottom. Post if ya have any more questions/ issues, cuz like I said, I just did this this afternoon.

Great idea on using the coil! I will have to bank that for future use.

Well, I just finished. I pulled on the bump stops and they popped out after rotating them in a circular motion. Had to pull hard but it wasn't that bad. The only prob I had was getting the pass side spring back in, last time it was a "B" and this time was just as bad, but right after I lost my temper, drank a glass of water and settled down I remembered how I did it and it went back on very easy. Just had about 30mins of fighting with it. Tomorrow is the winch and bumper mod. Thanks for the help.

good thread. I am going to be installing a milemarker winch and winch plate this weekend. I hope to not have enough drop to need 3/4" spacer but if so ill be doing mine on top of 2.5" BB.

Here's my JK with a 2.5 TeraFlex Lift and TeraFlex 1/2 Spacer coil in the front.
Right now it sits perfect with the Mopar Front Bumper, Warn Winch and Mopar Rear Bumper...

The TeraFlex 1/2 coil spacers are available here...

If your adding a winch, it would be wise to get a Synthetic Winch-Line as not only is it safer... Its much more lighter than a steel winch cable thus preventing additional sagging in the front!

ooo half inch coil spacers, nice! All i can find are 3/4" and that might tall. All im doing is the plate and winch on the stock bumper set up. I have read some sag up to an inch with new bumper and winch so maybe ill be more around 1/2". I plan to buy synthetic line once i get all the other must like tree saver, gloves, snatch block and other little things that go with a winch
