3.5” Entry Level Rock Krawler, what else to make it work?
Instead it reads
"engineered to provide you with perfect steering corrections so your on highway handling maintains factory characteristics."
Then thats what the product description should say. "This product is safe although without caster adjustments your pinion angles and caster will be misaligned resulting in flighty steering and drivetrain vibrations"
Instead it reads
"engineered to provide you with perfect steering corrections so your on highway handling maintains factory characteristics."

These and other "truths" brought to you by modern advertising.
Seriously. If an engineer looked at it, they can get away with calling it "engineered". If the wheels don't fall off at 70MPH, they can call it "optimized for a perfect highway driving experience". After all, people still sell cam bolts for off-road vehicles, right? If they were required to be truthful in their advertising, any lift kit with cam bolts would contain the disclaimer:
"Notice: This product will be great for a while, then the rigors of off-road use will loosen the cam bolts causing your caster to change and your life to suck as you struggle to fix the problem. Your mileage may vary."
Advertising's purpose is to separate you from your money so that said money can be used to line the pockets of the manufacturers and their marketing consultants.
The truth is that you get what you pay for. Educate yourself on the issues, do your research about competing products, and make a choice. If you choose a cheap product, understand what you're getting. If you choose an expensive product, understand that you'll have less money left over.

I ended up going with the RK mid arm flex kit. By the time you add the brake lines, and adjustable LCA's, you are better off stepping up from the entry level...
The arms are beefy!

Yup. And Viagra will make your wife into a doe-eyed nympho, Pepsi will make you popular with nubile nineteen year old girls, drinking scotch will make you classy, and owning a VW will make you cool and hipster-ish without the grubby factor.

In the sponsors forum I saw a thread called "crazy christmas pricing" and I asked teraflex if they could match the parts from that kit and then beat RK's price, waiting on a PM still......
I'm assuming that you bought from either Northridge or Bustabizz? TeraFLex makes a point to not step on our vendors toes.

Crap, you are right. I didn't even realize who I was talking to, I just assumed (wrongfully) he was a tera flex rep but he is a rep for 4wd. Good call.
Caster adjustment is one of the places where entry and some higher priced lift kits seem to cut corners to fit a price point.
If you've done your research here you will find many threads about members that opted to buy adjustable LCAs after the fact and the challenges with cam bolts.
I'm not defending anyone...just explaining that like every other product description in modern life, lift kit descriptions are written by people who's goal is to make you buy their product...not people who's goal is to help you buy the right product for your needs.
