Default 3.5" Backspacing too much?

I'm getting new wheels/tires this week. I've been running my stock rubi rims with 1.5"TF spacers since I lifted it and I'm just wondering if I should take them off or not when I install my new wheels. The new wheels are ATX artillery 16x9 with 4.5"BS, will be wrapped in 35 12.5 R16 toyos. So if I left my spacers on I would have 3.5" BS, is this way to much? I like the wider stance look, but don't want it to look dumb, or effect any performance. Does anyone have pics of 3.5"BS wheels? What should I do? Thanks all.

Run the new wheels with no spacers.

For a 12.5" wide tire you want 3.75" to 4.75" of backspace.

The new wheels 4.5" is good.

actually with 1.5" spacers and rims with 4.5" backspacing you'd be at 3" of backspacing. personally i wouldn't feel comfortable doing so in the long run.

3 inch backspacing is alote... i have the posion spyder wheels ,they have 3.5 backspacing which is nice for off road.. but pushes the wheels out pretty far. i would probably take the spacers off. heres mine with 3.5 spacing.
