Default 3 inch Teraflex installed

Hey all

I will have pictures tomorrow when I finish everthing up. I put in a full day and got to everything but the front track bar and sway bar end links. Man am I in for a world of back pain tomorrow - I can feel it already!

I took awhile and played around with control arm lengths. I am in the ball park with what others have posted. In preparation for the new rear driveshaft, I did go ahead and even out the rear pinion angle. I had to lengthen the rear uppers quite a bit and was concerned about the remaining threads inside the arm, but from antiseizing a few days ago, them think there should be plenty left. I ended up between 6 - 7 degrees for front castor.

I will also post all the other little details that I ran into tomorrow along with ground to fender measurements.

If anyone is wondering if 3 inchs with 35's is going to be tall enough, trust me, its tall!

Looking forward to seeing the pics as well! I'm getting ready to purchase a 4" and 35s, interested in seeing how the 3" looks.

Finished up after another long day. This time I was at it off and on in between other Sunday activities. I took it out for a test drive and other than the slight rumble from the Procomp XMT it drives straight and vibration free. I did have to tweak the steering wheel twice to get it level. As a one man job it makes for a big project. I could have used a few extra hands more than once.

One minor point - I set the driveshaft angle even with the pinion. After I dropped it on the wheel, I checked the angle again and found that it had migrated 2 degrees up ^. It looks straight to the eye though. I will probably pull back the rear uppers next weekend to level it out.

I made a few mistakes that were easily corrected - mostly due to being tired. My wife came out a few times and just shook her head. She likes it though!

Looks good.

I’m surprised you haven’t smacked your Evap Can yet! Maybe with the lift you won’t have to worry about it?
