3" lift problems
I have a couple questions now that I have installed my lift. I got a 3" trailmaster budget boost. I think it was a pretty good kit. I noticed most budget boosts don't come with an adjustable track bar. This one did, and it came with a relocation bracket for the rear.
My question is:
I don't have adjustable control arms, how critical is this? My steering seems alittle flighty, but I also have yet to get an alignment. Is it going to hurt anything if I don't install control arms for awhile?
My other question:
I didn't get a new driveshaft for the front yet. I know that it can rub on the tranny skid plate when flexed right out. Is it just as easy to modify the skid plate? When it sits on flat ground there is probably a 4" gap between the driveshaft and the skid plate. I imagine I would have to really flex it out.
Thanks
