Default 305/70-17

I am thinking of putting a 2.5" BB on my 08 Wrangler. Will 305/70-17s fit on factory wheels? I know I will need probably 1.5" Spacers. Just wanted to know if these tires will fit with the lift. Only going to be doing light/moderate off roading. Thanks alot guys and gals.

You will do just fine, even at full flex.

I have the same size, but got crager steel wheels to mount them on. They where cheaper then spacers. And I can still run the stock wheels/tires around town to get better MPG. Been running around 2 MPG better!

They fit good with the BB but spacers will be a must because they will rub with stock rims.

I swapped out my 305 Nitto's for 315 BFG's..had to put the spacers on for the nitto 305's..the 315 bfg's only rubbed at full turn with the spacers off and it was minimal..give ya something to think on.

wheel spacers are a must if you run this set up.

if you don't use spacers, the sway bar links will rub on the tire/wheel.

i want to post photos of my JK w/ TF BB, 8179's and Goodyear MT/R's, but i dont know how.

Shoot, I have the stock Rubicon rims and 32's with 3/4" coil spacers to level out the stance. Since the back spacing on the factory rims are all 6.25" I even rub the the sway bar link now. Now, it isnt very often, and I havent even heard/felt when it happens, but it shows the rub marks on the link. You will have to put on some spacers to push the tires further out if you are using stock rims, or get an aftermarket rim with 4-4.5" bs.
