Default 315/70/r17 tires

Does anyone know will this tire fit on a stock 08 x wrangler wheel, or will I have to put wheel spacers on it to keep it from rubbing against something under the jeep? I have a 2 1/2 spring lift kit already installed on the jeep, really dont want to use wheel spacers!! thanks!!

Default 305's

I have 305/65r17 and when I bought them, I was told by the 4WD guys that I would probably need spacers if I stayed with the stock wheels. I ended up getting new wheels, so I don't know if they were BS-ing me or not. I have had very good experiences with those guys, so I expect they were being hones.

This size tire fits with no rubbing on wheels with 4.75 backspace (my specs in signature), I don't know what backspace stock wheels are.......

I have that size tire on stock wheels and you will need spacers it will rub. trust me... With spacers on front and rear I do a little rear outer fender rubbing when fully flexed wit a Rustys 3.25 lift

Check out my gallery, I am running that exact size on stock rims. Definately need some spacers and possibly trim or remove the airdam.

I have that size on my stock 17s and they will rub with no spacers. I put 1.5 inch spacers and no trouble with 3" lift.
