32-33 inch tire advice
I am saving my pennies for tires. My Bridgestone duelers are almost down to their wear bars and I am thinking in the next month or so I am pulling the trigger on a new set of tires.
I take the jeep off road on trails a little, and drive on the beach a few times a year. I am not looking for a lot of road noise, my gobi rack is already enough.
Money is a big concern, I am kind of thinking of cheeping out on tires so I can move on to other mods. I have a teraflex leveling kit.
Treadwright Warden's 285/65/18 - $900 Shipped, + $150 Wheel Spacers $1050 - I like these because they are cheap, 33 inch, but don't like them because they look a little cheap from the picture online, and I haven't seen them in person, so it's a tough sell.
Cooper Discoverer AT/3 265/70/18 - $915 from Discount Tire. Love the price, I'm pretty sure forum members get another $50 off. The tire supposedly measures 32.6 inches, so that's OK. I think it's actually taller than some "33" sized tires. Like the tire look, but don't love it. Not sure if I'd need spacers in this size or not.
General Grabber AT2 265/70/18 - $1050 from Discount Tire. Very good price, love the look of the tire. Looks like a good tire for me. Also measures 32.6" Not sure if the Coopers or Generals are a better tire. I also like Generals because they sponsor a family member's desert race rig.
Falken Wild Peak 265/70/18 - $860 From Discount Tire. Crazy Cheap. I know they are well liked on here, but the look so boring to me. I also don't like some of the reviews that I have read when mud comes into play.
Cooper ST Maxx 275/70/18 - $1300 From Discount Tire. 33's Yeah!, I really like these tires, but the difference in price, I could almost buy a bumper, or a winch for the jeep. I'll also need spacers.
Goodyear Duratrac's - 33/12.5/15 + 15 in. Cragar Wheels Breaking the Bank here at $1500. Haven't Liked GoodYear Tires, ever, on any of my other vehicles, but people love them here. Hoping they really don't have a lot of road noise if I go this route. I don't want to spend this much on tire's but if it makes that much difference, then I can always save longer and get them. These tires don't actually measure 33 inches though.
I don't like Nitto Trail Grapplers because I understand they have a weak sidewall and I don't see great pricing on them either.
Other suggestions are welcome.

My comment was on JP magazines' recent issue on tires, they didn't seem to like them.

If we are talking weak sidewall, we have to toss the duratrac in there. That tire has failed more in the sidewall than any other I have seen. Like massive full length rips down the sidewall.
