Default 33 inch bfg mud tires

I am putting a teraflex levelling kit on a 2dr x this weekend with some Rubi coils. I have a spare set of X steel 16 x 7. Rims sitting in the garage and just seen locally some 33 12.5 16 bfg mud tires for sale. First of all will these fit my steel rims ( concerned about the width). Then will they fit the jeep after my " lift" this weekend without rubbing ?

I didn't think the tires would be too good that wide on those rims. Just thought I'd throw it out to you guys see what you thought. Or maybe experienced. Thanks anyway

I just did the same leveling lift but ran the 285 70 R17 BFG KM2s and that doesn't rub, but I'm sure it would if I would have went to the 12.5 wide tires.

They would rub bad without wheel spacers. I ran 265's on my stock steelies and they came about 1/4" from rubber. No way a 12.50 wide tire would work.

As coecidence, I am putting the same lift on mine this weekend :P

Lol. To coincidence. I'm hoping for good weather this stuffs been taking up space in garage for a while now! I'm hunting around for some goods used mudders. Spotted these and wondered about using them on the stock steelies. Guess I'm going to have to look for an aftermarket rim or stick with 265's. That's what I'm running right now just an all terrain bfg. Wanted MUDs for the winter. Living out in the country
thanks for sharing guys
