Default 33" Irok

Anyone put 33x13.5-17 IROKs on their JK yet? These have worked so well on my TJ that I'm thinking of running this tire with a 2.5BB and the factory whls,...I don't know if it's going to require a whl spacer or not?

I would think a 13.5" wide tire would be a bit much for the stock 7" rim.

I ahve looking at these too. Can you give us your impressions? inclement weather handling, road noise, etc.

Those are the bias ply...

The radial 36x13.50-17 measure 36.0
The radial 36x12.50-17 measure 36.9

Interco recommends a 17x10 inch wheel for these tires

as far as road noise goes, they are actually pretty quiet, they do have a noticeable hum though, but not loud. These tires actually handle very well in all weather conditions. I highly recommend them.

I've been using IROKs for a few years now, I'm on my 4th set, 2 sets of bias 36x13.5-15's and two sets of 37x12.5-15 radials, the bias 36's are the best IMO, better side wall flex and they work well in every condition, even on the road, I've been running tham on an 8"rim at as low as 5 psi (pic'd B4 the beadlocks) without ever throwing a bead...

I have had both TSL Radials and Radial SSR's. I highly recommend the SSR.

I had a set of 35's (35x12.5-15) on my TJ, NEVER AGAIN, the sidewalls don't hold up to lower PSI use, they have a tendancy to seperate bad, not only on my Jeep but also on 3 (2 sets were 37x12.5-15 and another were the 35's)other friends TJ (one was a 4 banger) I thought they would be good for the truck but 2 friends at work put them (265/70-17) on their 2500Ram diesel, niether used for towing or heavy hauling, just used for light duty work and never aired down (65PSI) they both wore them out in less than 20,000 miles and one guy had to replace two of them for seperated sidewalls...Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Interco tire fan but not the SSR (or the ThornTurds for that matter)...Other than that I've had 3 sets of Boggers, four sets of IROKs from interco that I've had no problems with...

16 sets of tires in 3 years on my Jeep, IROKs are my favorite to date...

Depends on what your using them for,...the R's (radials) lasted almost twice as long as the Bias, but the bias work way better off-road, on road I couldn't tell any differance between the R and bias except the R's corner much tighter,
I replace my tires when they get close to 50% (or sooner if they don't suite my demands)

The 37x12.5-15R's made it close to 30,000KM b4 50%

The 36x13.5-15 Bias made about 15'000KM before 50% (centre tred measured)

I haven't had a set of TSL's yet but a few friends use them, on road I've heard they are rough and a PITA to ballance (as are most swampers), but they look like they work really well in the dirt and mud.

how did the SSRs behave on the road. Did you get decent life with them. This is a DD so im hoping they act somewhat ok on the road. It has mickey baha claws on it right now and they hum pretty good. Hopefully it will be close to them.
