Default 33"s or 34"

I have orderd a 2011 Rubicon, going to do either a TeraFlex leveling kit or BB. I've found someone that wants to buy my stock 32" tires. So the question is should I go....

Goodyear Duratrax 285/70R17 (33") or
Toyo 285/75/R17 (34")

Do yourself a favor and get 35" tires. You will wish you had in about 2 weeks.

Just do what I did, and order the 295/70/17's! Put my TF Leveling Kit in on Monday, and the Toyo MT's should be here (hopefully) this week!

This sound like a great combo. Lets see the pics when it's done.

If your questioning 34's than why not 35's. Trust me, you'll want them.

I have the Teraflex leveling kit too. I think I may go with the 295/70/17 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I really wish I had more options for a 305/70/17. As far as I can tell Goodyear MTR is the only option for that size. I have been told that BFG's run small though & have been tempted to try those in a 315/70/17. I just don't want to rub or go too big for my auto with 3.73's. Decisions, decisions.....

I got the cheap one with pucks just before the coil option came out. It wouldn't have changed my mind though. Can't beat the price on the puck option ($129 & free shippping). For the price of the coil kit I'd probably have gone with the 2.5 inch kit.

Just think of what you want to do with it, what kind of trails are you going to be doing. 33's are fine for most things, it's just that people have gotten this idea that one should always go with the biggest size possible, which of course is not always true.
Is it a 2 door or a 4 door, that could make a difference in the decision too.

This is a 2 door. I am a little odd I guess, because I like bigger tires than stock, but not too big. I have nothing to prove, I just like the look of a taller tire. That's why I was thinkinkg about the Toyo's. They have a size that is tall and skinny 34"x11.5. I just dont like the look of a fat 12.5 tire.
