Question 33 on stock rubi

I read the faq but it was a little fuzzy, can I run 33" on my stock rims on my auto stock rubi and wheel ok without any other mods, with only minor rubbing when at full flex? Thanks for clearing this up.

My own search on this subject says yes. However, if you research tire dimensions, most 285/70/17 tires are within a 1/2 inch of the stock 255 in height. I guess that is why everyone says to go straight to 35's and be done with it.

I thought going to 35" require significant $$$. I want to wait til I have it. Fig 33" would be something bigger without the investment.

You will have minor rubbing of the front tires against the sway bar end links at full lock. This can be cured with a couple of washers and the steering stop fix.

Your speedo will be a little over +1mph off as well.
