33'' tires installation tomorrow
Getting some new duratracs 275/70R18 installed tomorrow on my factory rims, and I have an AEV procal from northridge4x4 on the way. I installed a body lift early this summer. Is there any other upgrades that are needed to be done for this setup, I may need a washer on the steer stop bolt, will the tires clear the front plastic air dam under the bumper, and also thinking about getting RCV ultimate dana 30 axle set for the front.
I run this setup. I bought a set of factory JK 18" Rims and had them soda blasted, then I had them powdercoated Black. I installed the 33" GY Duratracs. I put on the 2" leveling kit and required the 1.5" Spidertrax spacers.
Without the lift and spacers, I only rubbed if I backed up and cranked the wheel. So I put on the spacers and it still rubbed, then I put the lift on and no rubbing or anything.
I'm not sure how to post pics of my setup.

The fronts will rub at full lock (on a stock suspension), but that can be fixed with a couple of washers on the steering stops. You don't need the spacers until you go past 11.5" wide. ( but they do make the Jeep look better)

Put spacers on if you can. Im running 285/70/17 right now on stock rims. It fills out the wheel wells nicely and was well worth the money. Also with the extra 3 inches added it drives a bit better as well. Ive got no lift, and even at full lock I dont rub. And get rid of the damn plastic piece.. The JK looks better without.. and besides if you wheel like you should you will jsut end up ripping it of on a rock or something like I did
