Default 33'' Tires on Stock sport wheels, do I need spacers?

Hey Guys, I've done a few searches and gone through the newb modified info and I can't seem to find this answer. I'm trying to mess around as little as possible with my Sport and so I've decided to get the 2" AEV Level/lift kit and 33". Do I need spacers to run a 12.5 width tire on the stock 16" sport wheel? How about a 10.5?

These mods plus a winch will hopefully get me through the mud to work. I'm not looking to go any bigger than this though.

So, do I need spacers to run a 10.5 or 12.5? I'm in a 2011 2dr sport.

From what i hear, you will need spacers if going with a wider than stock tire. Also lifting it changes the position of suspension parts that may rub. I also hear spidertrax are the way to go.

I didn't have any problems on my 08 with the 285/75R16s once I put the a lift on. Before the lift it would rub on the sway bar in the front only at full lock. Never had to use spacers. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Spidertrax is definitely the company I will go with if I need to.

Great. Thats what I needed to know. I'm thinking with the front sway bars disconnected, I'm going to get enough to cause some rubbing. I guess I should just order them all at once (lift and spacers). At least now I know I don't need to go 1.5"; 1" or 1.25" should be enough.

You WILL rub if you disconnect.

305/65R17 with a teraflex leveling kit. Without flat flares or increased bumpstops, you can not run disconnected.

A 34" would rip a lot of stuff up.

I believe I've read that you do need spacers for 12.5 width, but with narrower you might not need. Search threads I thought there were guys on here running narrower tires w/o spacers. Depending on your wheels for around @ $200 for spacers you could pick up some steel wheels with correct backspacing for not much more. Then again alot of guys are running the Spiders and have not had any issues with then provided they are properly installed. Read Mod Faq's by Wayalife....very informative.

I'm running 255/85r16 on the stock Sport steely rims with no rubbing and no spacers.

Thanks guys. I am planning on running AEV's 2" lift.

Those of you who have been talking about rubbing, was that without a lift or with a lift? I was thinking 2" lift and 1.25 spidertrax spacers will eliminate the rub.
