33's or 35's for everyday driver
Hi guys, I liefted my jeep 3" and I am currently running 285's, I was wondering if putting 35's would ruin my feel on the road, or just wear out too quickly compared to what I have now? I have headers a catback system and a superchip computer so loss in power isnt a huge issue....just wondering about mpg's and the overall feel. I do lots of highway driving because I work over 2000 km's from home and do the drive twice a month, but on my off time I am nearly always in the woods........
I'm getting 14 city and 17 hwy on 35" with 4:10 gears. I was talking to a guy with 33" with a 2012 X and he told me he was getting the same. You have an idea what tire brand you are going to go with?

I'd go 35's.

I was thinking of staying with goodyear tires or there is this one firestone tire I saw but forgot the exact tire it is. I wil look into it and let you know. I have to deal with snow and ice up here lol right now I am getting 13.6 L/100 km highway and between 13.6-15 L/100 km running around driving.
Now you got me wanting 35's JC lolllllll and it does look nice I guess, but I didnt and dont really plan on playing with gear ratios.
So far I am using goodyear duratrac tires and they are not noisy on the road and great so far this winter. I will probably keep running this tire brand.
