Default 33's do I need shafts?

33's do I need shafts?
what about 35's do I need shafts?
will my stock ones hold up when 4wheelin?

I have an 08 x auto on RC 2.5 BB.

I have disco in the front and rock hard skids, I also in time want a rear locker. . . do I need to worry?

Depending if you have the front Disco or not the X will be fine with the 2.5 BB It wont flex enough to get near the crossmember to tear the boot. anything lift 3" and above is when you will start needing to consider getting new shafts. If you have an Unlimited then you really don't need to worry that much for the rear. with the 33's if you are using the same width tire as stock you are good to go if you get a wider one I would recomend getting a spacer from Dave at Northridge, he can set you up with the right stuff to get you out on the trails with your new 33's.

bump & follow up Q.

can you just get a front 1310 replacement? I was looking @Northridge site out of curiosity to see what a Reel front would cost and it looks like you can only select rear or rear & front.

The reason I ask is I have auto/Rubi Unlimited and I'm figuring out my lift & budget.
