Default 33's & Lift

I'm planning on running a 2" Teraflex BB with 33X12.50 18R Toyo MT's on the stock 18's will that be possible? If not, aside from buying aftermarket rims w/backspacing, wheel spacers or dropping down to 32's are there any other options? What does a 295/70/17 spec out to? Is it bigger than a 32 yet smaller than a 33? Also is there such a thing as a 295/70/18? One last thing I'm assuming Jeep OEM aftermarket rims don't offer backspacing i.e Hulk & Gladiator?

Thanks in advance

Yes it's absolutely possible. Just buy wheel spacers for the stock rims and you'll be fine. I'm running a 2.5" BB (Teraflex) with 285/70/17's.
2.5" lifts look perfect to me with 33's.

By the way 285/70/17's are 33's. So a 295 must be around a 34" tire (guessing).

Good luck

I ordered Toyo M/T's too for my Sahara, 275/70/18 works out to 33.6" x 11" tires. I am putting a FT 2" BB with monotube shocks. I think this will be perfect for my needs.

I'm runnin' the Hankook RT03's in a 295/75R16 on the stock 16's, no lift and SpiderTrax 1.5" spacers. I think they work out to 33.6's I believe!

You can run the 33X 12.50 Toyo MT's on the stock sahara wheels with no lift so the 2" Tereflex will be good. Just add the wheel spacers as previously stated.

Whats the best deal you have found on the tires? I'm looking for some myself.

What are the down sides to using wheel spacers? Aside from asphalt the Jk will mainly see sand and FS roads with little true off roading.

I've found them as cheap as $270 a piece on the web as opposed to $320 at the local Les Schwab, but once you add in shipping and an extra charge to ship to residence instead of business it ends up being about $150 more than Schwab , so I'll probably be going downto Schwab. Plus if there's any problem with the tires I can just drive 3 miles to the store and deal with them directly.

From what I understand some states do not allow the use of spacers ???

Is there any noticable difference in the handling on or off road w/ wheel spacers and am I just better off to go aftermarket with some bs? Pros and cons either way?

Default spacers

I ran spacers on a old toyota truck that I used to own. The toyota trucks have terrible turning radius and the spacers made it worse.
