I was looking for some 33inch tires, and I saw the BFG KM 33x12.5/R16.5 .. R16.5?? what kinda wheels does this size work with?

Also, what's the difference between 33x12.5R16 and 305/70R16? Price is quite different..

 

The 33x1250 is only availible in the 15 and 16.5 wheel sizes. These were the standard and really only size wheel diameters for many years. The 16.5 was the 8 lug size, havent seen this in a while and I dont think Ive seen a 15 for a while either unless on a Jeep, so the pricing is probably for the older molds?? Just a guess. I know that the bigger the wheel diam, the more the tire price typically Also- the construction (load rating) affects the price as well. You get what you pay for in tires, dont skimp on brand or price, it makes a huge difference.
