Default 33x12.5r17 on stock 17 inch rims
My son has OEM 17 inch rims. I want to give him my 305r17's and trade up to 35's. The guy at 4 Wheel Parts said I could do this but it would cause crowning in the tire.
Any thoughts or advice?

I`ve done it,minimal crowning.Not enough to worry about.
