Default 34" Tire clearance?

I'm going to have a 3" OME lift installed by the dealer next week. Can I run the 305/70R17 MTRs on the JK now to take it up to them or should I wait until the lift is on. These MTRs are 34.1" and 12" wide on 4 1/2" BS wheels. I will only be on the road with little flexing.

The issue could be the rear tires making contact with the pinch seem or rock rail if so equiped. Also depending on your front bumper situation you would probably hit it or at least the front plastic airdam before you reached full turning lock.

OK, Thanks. I will wait until the lift is completed.

There are people running 35's for a week or three until they lift. (street only, of course) You'll be ok. Just watch the tight turns and speedbumps. And go ahead stub-ify that front bumper and rip that cheap plastic skid off...

Cut the plastic "skid" a little, it still works to keep wind and water out - I hear taking it out hurts gas mileage, and you should be ok with 34's.. even if you don't cut it out you should be alright. It's only a week, and I don't believe you'll hit the pinch seam at all. People run 35's with no lift, just no off-roading.

Thank you for the replys. It doesn't really matter, as we just got so busy with our business, that I don't have time to do it. Maybe I can con one of the employees to help install the lift this weekend. Then, the dealer will just have to install my 513 gears.
