Default 34" Tires

I've seen a few references to 34" tires. When I shop around I only find 33's and 35's. Who makes 34's?

My Goodyear MTRs are a 34" tire. Look for a 305-70-17 if your trying to fit a 17" rim.

Interco (super swamper) makes several 34" tires.

Since you have 18's, check out the BFG A/T size 305/65R18.

I was looking at the Toyo AT's in the 285/75/18. Thats about 34.5 and 11.22 wide. Should fit well on the stock 18" rims that are 7.5 wide. I haven't purchased yet so no experience on how they actually drive but the reviews have been great.

Good luck and let us know what you choose.

Default AT's vs MT's

Thanks for the replies. I've been taking a hard look at the Toyo MT's and the Dick Cepek's Freedom Radials. It looks like those are the two types available locally in this little burg. Now Sunburnt mentions Toyo AT's. As I hijack my own thread here, what's the diff between AT's and MT's?

Default Toyo AT 285/75/18

If you go to Google or any search engine and type in Toyo Tire you can look at all thier tires and sizes available, or any other tires for that matter. Most sites have prices as well. I am also interested in the 285/75/18 Toyo Open Country AT, its narrower and a lot less moey than a 12.5/35/18. If anyones running a tire this size please post a picture. Sorry for the hijack.

A/T will be better in snow and rain as well as sand. M/T will be better in mud.
A/T will be much quieter on the road. M/T are much better looking.

As far as the A/T's go, the Toyo's are decent looking but sometimes it is hard to beat the cool looking factor.

Agree ATs better in sand. MTs have always been better in snow/rain for me - especially the Toyos.
