Default 34s with 3/4" lift?

First, I don't want to do a 2" budget boost...I'll eventually get a Clayton lift, new shafts, etc. For now my 3/4" daystar lift is the highest I'll go without track bars, control arms, etc.. I also have spidertrax 1.5 spacers. That said...

If the JK can fit 32" tires stock, logic says I would need a 1" lift to fit 34s. However, the JK can also fit 33s without rubbing, which suggests I should be able to get away with the 3/4" lift and some 1.25" bumpstops (and the spiderrax spacers).

What do you guys think? Toyo has a 34.1 by 11.6 inch MT. Do you think I can fit that without rubbing at full articulation?

I really don't want to get into a "here's what you should do" converastion. I had a 2" BB and the Jeep rode like crap and had driveline vibrations at 65mph. I have a two door automatic, and some are more prone to vibrations than others. I can use removeable bumpstops on the trail only and avoid bottoming out on the street.

The 3/4" lift rides great with 0 issues.

All I want to know is will I be able to clear 34s at full articulation with that lift and 1.5" wheel spacers?

on a JK? If so then you installed it WRONG

but to answer your question you can run 34s if you don't plan on wheeling it. why 34s? why not 32s or 33s?

Yes, on a 2007 Rubicon. I could deal with the reduced ride quality (or just get on OME 2" lift), but not with the vibrations. But please, I don't want to get into that...I posted on here when I had the lift on and got 0 answers. Maybe the vibrations are too slight for most people to notice. I am very sensitive to that sort of stuff.

edited my first post.... like I said you installed it wrong then... but nonetheless hope the 2nd answer helps..... if you are willing to fender chop you can run 35s with no lift... just depends on what you are willing to do to achieve it

I installed a BB wrong??? Did I put the pucks on upside down???

I do wheel it, and I wheel it heavily. I want to know if I can clear the 34s at full articulation.

If I can clear 33s stock, then logically I should only need a .5" lift to clear 34s. Each inch of tire size raises you .5".

Why 34s? I'm looking for the largest tire I can fit with the 3/4" lift and 1.5" wheel spacers. I was looking at 33.5" tires before the 34.1" came out. These particular 34s are 11.6 inches wide.

no but you probably didn't tighten everything to spec and align properly.....

your .5" logic is warped.... if that were the case then a 1" lift is all I needed for my 35s I have a 2.5" lift which is closer to 3" and it rubs at full lock and turn....

Clearing tires and having a functional rig are 2 different things. YES you can clear 34s... but if you do anything more than curb hop a mall you you'll want more lift.

Actually I did. If I hadn't, I'd have the same issues with 3/4", or without a lift.

It's not rocket science, a monkey can install a BB.

Maybe you installed it wrong.

Do you have wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels? Do they rub against the fenders at articulation or just when turning?

Yes, I know that, which is why I asked. If I didn't wheel I could clear 35s with no lift.
