Default 35 to 37's. Help me decide.

Im currently running Cepek 35 MT tires and drive 80 street but need the traction in the Florida mud. I have a chance to pick up 37 Pro Comp AT or 37 Super Swamper TSL Radials. I'm running 3.73 gears and dont plan to update for a while. Will I notice a bigger power loss from the Pro Comps or Swampers?

Yes, especially with only 3.73s. Many threads on this - but, plan on many more upgrades than just the tires you think you need. Because unless you have it all planned out i.e. gears, axles, steering, it's only a want. 37s require much more thought, and if it's a DD, I wouldn't.

I've been reading a lot of the posts and write ups on running 37's. I probably should have given more info. I do plan to truss and gusset the Dana 30. I also had been planning to run 4.88 gears to keep from trashing the RnP. Then have a TrailDash on the list.

It is a daily driver. I put about 100mi a day on her and am getting 15mpg on 35 MTs. I was thinking the ATs would offer less resistance and still be ok offroad since I do light wheeling.

I found a full set of 37" Pro Comp Extreme ATs for $400. Seems too good to pass up.

I am running 5.38s on My JK with 37s. I drive it daily to the tune of usually 75 miles a day. I am about to but my second set of 37s. Since I put the gears in I am getting around 14mpg +/-

What MPG's were you getting before the gears?

You will notice a huge power loss and big drop in fuel economy with that setup...

Part of me says go for it, but the sensible side says think before you do. Alot more pricy mods you might have to do to run those.
