Default 35 inch KM2's on Rubicon

Do I have to beef up anything in order to not bend my axles. I am going to be running a 2.5 inch Teraflex coil lift

I strongly doubt you would need anything on a rubicon, due to the factory reinforced dana 44 axles in the front and rear. You probably could run 37s with no issues.

On a Wrangler X's dana 30 front axle - 35s would be the biggest I would go.

As usual your mileage or longevity in this case will vary according to where and how you drive it offroad.

But if you run a SEARCH I think you will find few complaints or failures with the D44s and 35" tires particularly if you runt the stock gears. From what I have seen most failures come from JKs with 37+" tires.

you may want to install some c gussetts to prevent bending of the axle c's. other than that, you should be fine.

x2 with that. It is nice to have some piece of mind and for a fairly inexpensive price.

I have 35s on my Rubi, I have C-gussets installed (no sleeves) and haven't had any stock axle issues with the rock crawlin' we do.

You do know the D44 is a D30 hybrid right? Same tubes, same Cs, same outers. Whatever bending occurs on a JK D30 will occur on a JK D44.

If you've got or know someone with a welder it's pretty straight forward. Wise/cheap investment.
