35 pre-install checklist
Just want to make sure I'm not missing anything...
1. BFG KM2 35x12.5r17s
2. RR 17x9s with 4.56 bs
3. TFS 2.5 perf BB w/ shocks
4. LOD rear bumper/tire carrier (lights, 3rd lite ext, jerry can mnts, rack)
5. JKS 2.5-6in front disconnects
From what I've read here:
1. Shouldn't have any issues with fenders / rubbing except perhaps at extreme flex
2. Shouldn't have any issues with standard rubi rock rails
3. shouldnt have any issues with Death Wobble since BB isnt touching front trackbar
4. Caster / alignment should be done after full install / shouldnt have any issues
Hopefully I can deal with the 3.73 gears on a manual 6speed for a while...
Anything else?
Thx!

Once you have that new rear bumper on, the back will sag a little if you keep your stock springs. A 35 inch spare, bumper, jerry cans, etc. adds up to a lot of weight pushing your rear springs down.
I run 3.73s with 35s and an auto trans. Its not bad. You'll want to turn off your overdrive when you're on the highway (if manual has overdrive), but it is totally driveable.

I don't know how much wear and tear your '08 JK has been subjected to, but if one of those joints has play in it, it is very likely to cause DW once you install the lift.
Also torque everything back to spec for the same reason.

This is what I had to do on the front. I had the TF BB spacers up front, but my winch and bumper brought it WAY down. Put in the TF 3in springs, and it sits perfectly level. I ended up having to add adjustable track bars, though.
If you are running the OEM front bumper...you may still rub the front tires on the rediculous airdam at full lock even when on the street....so just rip it off on a rock or something....Sounds like you have a good list......we all could suggest allot of additional mods to do, but for the most part you should be just fine...
Remember your speedo will be off with this new setup
there are options like flashpaq or other programmers to recal for you though...good luck...post some pics asap
