35 spline rcvs and arb question

So I came across a crazy deal on a d44 rubi front housing, housing only, and am going to build this to replace my broken 30.

I've already bought artec truss and track bar mount, and 5.13 gears, which is what I currently have in the rear. I am looking at going with the arb locker, which requires 35 spline shafts, which only rcv makes I believe. I will be running 38" tires, and play in the rocks, not mud.

My question is how much do I need to worry about breaking my ring and pinion with this setup? Has anyone broken their r&p in their 44? I have gone through 2 sets of ring gear in my 30, so obviously this is a pressure point for me, although I know the 44 ring is larger.


Or should I stick with the factory locker and chromoly shafts so I keep my weak point on the shafts instead of the ring gear?
