Default 35 in tires on a 2.5 in BB

i just put my 2.5 bb on and am really close to getting new tires (the stock rubi 32s just look weak and i want more tire). I'd love to go with the 35's and i have heard from a lot of people that they will fit but i havent found any pictures. I dont want to order my tires and realize they rub everywhere on the trail so can someone post some pics and talk to me about how theirs rub? thanks for the help

You can do some searches on here but this is what you will probably find out.

1. You can clear 35's with a 2.5BB but if you are running stock wheels you will need spacers
2. Get aftermarket wheels with backspacing around 4.5" and no more rub
3. You will possibly have some rubbing at full stuff (extreme articulation)

Where are the pics of your jeep?

Mine don't rub at all. 4.5"BB with 315/70R17 and I disco. Mine is the blue one, and my friend has got the same setup, but with 16's. Check out the flex disco'd

If you get the Teraflex, spring for the shocks and don't get the extensions, I broke my original shock studs on the front trying to get them off. You can't get the originals at an autoparts store or jeep. I luckily had a buddy with a JK with the originals shocks he took off when he got his BB.

Does anyone run spacers and an aftermarket wheel with 4.5 or more backspacing? Would a wider stance look funny?

With 4.5" BS my 35s already stick out the wheel wells over an inch. JKs have a pretty wide stance already with these rims. I wouldn't want to go any wider stance then that personally.
