Currently I'm running 37in BFG KM2s on 17in black rock 997s type 8. These together are 109lbs each. The new setup is 87lbs each! That will help on the D30 up front I bet!

Are the tires loud or rough that you can tell? How many miles have you put on them?

I'm running almost that setup...35x12.50r15 MTR on Cragar Soft 8....I've been running them for a few thousand miles now and I love the tires, they handle great both on and off road. They aren't too bad on road noise wise...with doors off on the freeway they are obviously a bit loud but with doors on not at all. They aren't superswamper kind of loud though.

I love my 35" MTR's. I've got about 6k on mine right now, and I have zero complaints. The noise/feel is very reasonable for a M/T, but obviously louder/rougher than a standard A/T. The extra noise isn't enough to cause any noticable problems, aka, you can still talk at a normal level with everyone in the jeep, as well as only have to maybe increase the radio volume a few clicks to not hear the tires anymore. Except when the doors and top are off. But honestly, I can't tell a difference in loudness then anyway. It's 90% wind buffeting anyway, lol. I haven't been able to go mudding, or the equiv yet, but as for rock crawling, and just general/average trails, these tires rock. I wish I could give an estimate as to what kind of tire life I'm looking at for my set, but I haven't actually sat down and calculated it out. I should probably stop procrastinating on that lol. I do know that the tires are noticably worn in, but not by too much I don't think. Not all miles are created equal, and i'd say fully half the miles on these tires have been hard.

I don't have those wheels however, so I can't offer anything useful regarding them.

Thanks Flame Red and SoCal! I'm excited about them! Anyone else have these wheels?

I have this set-up but in black. They've been on for over a year now, getting good wear with a few rotations so far. Zero issues with the wheels and the tires balance nicely.
